Hey there Vegetable Lovers!
I can’t believe I already have TEN WHOLE EPISODES under my belt; thank you all so much for the incredible support and encouragement on the journey so far. Obviously I’m still very much a novice and though I recognize how far I’ve evolved since EP1, I still have far to go. I’m glad you guys are along for the ride!
Suffice to say, I’m really, really proud of EP10. If you haven’t yet heard it, run don’t walk!
In Episode Ten, Erin Red is joined by entrepreneur, vegan wonder-chef, genius and all-around incredible guy Ayinde Howell to discuss veganism as it applies to Black America. Find out why fried chicken(s) should be a thing of the past. You can find out more about Ayinde and his life-changing Mac n’ Yease at ieatgrass.com, like him on Facebook, or follow him on Twitter @AYINDE. Remember: Red Radio is 100% listener supported! Please find Erin Red and Red Radio at erinred.tumblr.com, on Facebook under Erin Red, and on Twitter @erinred.
The best part? It was released yesterday; Martin Luther King Jr. Day! I swear I didn’t plan it that way, but I’m glad it worked out. On a related note, did you know that Coretta Scott King was vegan the last 10 years of her life, and her son with MLK Jr., Dexter Scott King, has been a vegan and animal activist since the 1980’s. Amazing!
